About The Position

Are you an experienced property management professional with a proven track record of overseeing multiple assets? Do you thrive in leading teams, driving operational excellence, and fostering strong client and resident relationships? If so, we invite you to join Donaldson as a Regional Property Manager. As a Regional Property Manager, you will oversee the implementation of management plans and ensure the financial and operational success of multiple properties within the portfolio. You’ll lead property teams, maintain compliance, and build strong client and resident relationships to achieve long-term success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in the property management industry with 3-5+ years overseeing multiple assets (5-7 properties)
  • Experience with affordable housing programs such as Tax Credit, LIHTC, and Section 8 is a strong plus
  • ARM or CPM designation preferred or willingness to obtain within three years
  • Proficiency in YARDI, CRM, Site Manager, and P2P systems
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and operational oversight
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship management abilities

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets for assigned properties
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance and physical asset quality
  • Maximize cash flow, control operating costs, and minimize vacancy and bad debt loss
  • Review financial reports, rental increases, and lease renewals to ensure optimal performance
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Conduct performance evaluations, recommend salary adjustments, and provide ongoing motivation
  • Maintain positive resident and client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly
  • Plan and execute resident retention programs and functions within budgetary constraints
  • Serve as the primary liaison between property owners and property managers, ensuring consistent communication and reporting
  • Attend owner meetings, industry events, and inspections as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local property standards, including Fair Housing laws
  • Maintain detailed and timely reporting of property operations and performance
