About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Account Manager to accelerate growth in the outdoor living category including decking, railing, and accessories. This role is ideal for a true hunter who excels at building high-value relationships, creating pull-through demand, and developing a robust portfolio of large home remodelers, custom home builders, and high-volume contractors. As a key contributor to our regional growth strategy, you will drive market expansion, deepen customer engagement, and influence purchasing decisions by showcasing the value of our outdoor living solutions. Your ability to uncover opportunities, win new business, and cultivate long-term loyalty will directly impact our success.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing and growing a multi-million-dollar book of business in a hunter/gatherer sales role.
  • B2B building materials background with strong end-user engagement experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling to large remodelers, custom home builders, and high-volume contractors.
  • Ability to travel 40–60% to meet with customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) for pipeline management and customer tracking.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify trends and convert insights into action.
  • Self-starter with exceptional organization, time-management, and follow-through abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Acquire New Business
  • Aggressively target and win new business with large home remodelers, custom home builders, and high-volume contractors.
  • Build a strong pipeline through consistent outbound outreach and high-touch engagement.
  • Develop Customer Portfolios
  • Drive adoption of outdoor living products and generate pull-through demand in partnership with dealers and distributors.
  • Build and nurture a portfolio of high-value accounts through ongoing relationship development.
  • Gather Market Intelligence
  • Track and analyze trends in pricing, customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and future pipeline opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and improve positioning in the market.
  • Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
  • Build, manage, and grow a multi-million-dollar book of business.
  • Utilize solution selling to meet customer needs and differentiate our offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams—including channel partners, sales leadership, and marketing—to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Partner with distributors and dealers to maximize pull-through and market penetration.
