About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence in your assigned region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize territory performance, analyze market trends, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Requirements

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in channel sales management, preferably with rep groups, distributors, or national accounts.
  • Background in security, access control, or smart home technology; familiarity with consumer electronics is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and ideally ERP systems like NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically to meet clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share across multiple product lines.
  • Forecast sales, set performance goals, and leverage market analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key accounts through compelling presentations and negotiations.
  • Provide hands-on sales and technical training to partners, ensuring they can effectively represent and sell products.
  • Optimize territory distribution, advise on sales and marketing techniques, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Monitor competitor activities, deliver actionable intelligence, and contribute ideas for new product or market opportunities.
  • Oversee budgets, analyze sales data, and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
