Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in aftermarket mining or OEM environments.
  • Proven track record of leading front-line sales teams, driving portfolio growth, and executing national sales strategies through others.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and thrive in a field-based, hands-on role.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strategic mindset with growth accountability for assigned product portfolios
  • Analytical and business performance monitoring capabilities
  • Deep understanding of customer operations and mining processes
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools
  • Willingness to travel across Nevada and Utah as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the PSSR team to achieve sales targets, portfolio growth, and key account objectives.
  • Set individual targets for PSSRs aligned with the national sales strategy and monitor performance to ensure results are delivered.
  • Ensure PSSRs effectively use CRM (Salesforce) to manage opportunities, document visits, and track results, leveraging data to improve team performance.
  • Drive growth and champion execution for assigned portfolios.
  • Support Category Managers on business execution via PSSRs.
  • Maintain fleet accuracy above 95% and ensure high-quality customer engagement.
  • Identify performance gaps, provide hands-on coaching (~75% field-based), and align the team with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Attend monthly global portfolio meetings to present SA USA performance and serve as the local liaison with global support teams.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Services, Operations, Finance, CSC, and Logistics to ensure alignment and enable profitable growth.
