About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing product mix, and overseeing strategic sales initiatives across our Moultrie, GA, McAllen, TX, and Swedesboro, NJ operations. You will lead cross-functional teams and align sales strategies across these key locations to ensure maximum profitability and superior service within the corrugated and agricultural packaging sectors.

Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years in the corrugated packaging industry.
  • Sales Mastery: At least 10 years of proven sales experience, with a heavy focus on the agriculture sector.
  • Leadership: 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably managing remote or multi-site teams.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel via air and car to Texas and New Jersey as required.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Maintains composure under pressure and effectively navigates crisis management across multiple time zones or locations.
  • Effective Mentorship: Acts as a "teacher-leader," capable of appraising personnel fairly and providing constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Organizational Excellence: Demonstrates superior time management and the ability to lead efficient, high-impact meetings.
  • Professional Presence: Acts as a confident, assertive representative of the company’s management team.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-Site Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute annual sales forecasts and long-term growth initiatives across three plant locations (GA, TX, NJ) to meet regional volume and margin targets.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage and integrate cross-departmental functions, including Sales Service, Design, Scheduling, Customer Service, and Shipping across the assigned territories.
  • Financial Performance: Utilize P&L insights and estimating expertise to determine product profitability and optimize production capabilities at each facility.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and regional market shifts to proactively adjust equipment needs, personnel, and inventory levels.
  • Regional Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and motivate a distributed sales team. Provide consistent coaching to improve professional skills and drive results across all locations.
  • Account Management: Maintain executive-level relationships with major accounts, particularly within the agricultural sector, ensuring long-term retention and satisfaction across the East Coast and Southwest regions.
  • Administrative Integrity: Oversee credit controls, ensure compliance with company policies, and manage unified departmental documentation.
