About The Position

We have a position open for a Regional Sales Manager in our New York / Long Island region! Ideal candidates will reside on Long Island or New York City. We Believe You'll Love this Position If... You enjoy promoting high-quality products and assisting our partners in the sales and education of Axis Communications solutions within the designated territory. What You’ll Do Here… You will continually promote and educate integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users to benefit the use of IP Video and Axis/2N products You maintain fluid and dedicated relations with prospects and current customers You arrange and execute Job Site, Customer Office, NYC Axis Experience Center, and Distributor visits to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, lunch and learns and speaking seminars You work cohesively with Axis Communication’s Application Development Partners You recommend proper equipment solutions and adequate product comparisons You actively participate in trade shows, seminars, Axis Academies, Webinars and other promotional sales activities You prepare weekly sales report with new and existing projects Perform other related duties as assigned Role supports National System Integrators What We Are Looking For… Strong selling skills, ability to listen and tailor a presentation to meet customer needs with a responsible independent drive Strong IP/IT knowledge Ability to effectively motivate in a time-sensitive environment Trustworthy and resourceful disposition Public speaking skills Multi-tasking and time management skills We Believe You Will Need… Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training 5+ years’ in sales driven position Strong technical background Fluency in Microsoft Office applications Physical demands: Frequently required to lift 20-50 lbs, occasionally more. Expected travel time for this position is 25%.
