About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager/Account Executive – End of Line Packaging Automation in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth and new business development in a high-potential territory spanning Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and West Texas. The Regional Sales Manager/Account Executive will manage existing accounts while proactively pursuing new opportunities in diverse end-use markets. This position is highly strategic, requiring deep consultative selling skills, technical knowledge of industrial automation solutions, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Success in this role directly impacts revenue growth and market expansion, providing visibility within the territory and opportunities for significant income. The role requires hands-on engagement with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical service, and product management, to deliver comprehensive solutions. Travel is a key component, and the position offers the chance to represent the company at industry events and become the trusted face of the organization in the assigned geography.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; engineering or business background preferred. Postgraduate education is a plus.
  • 3–5+ years of direct sales experience with industrial automation equipment; end-of-line packaging automation experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven success managing complex geographic territories and opening new accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell using a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.
  • Strong consultative and system-selling skills, including machinery, consumables, technical service, and parts.
  • Ability to manage medium-to-long-term sales cycles and effectively diversify end-use market mix.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; mechanical aptitude a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips to remote locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish and advanced Salesforce CRM experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and account growth within the assigned territory, meeting or exceeding revenue and client acquisition goals.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Present and communicate the company’s value proposition effectively to prospects and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the territory efficiently, providing timely reports and maintaining 100% CRM (Salesforce) utilization.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, engineering, marketing, product/project management, and inside sales teams on new business initiatives and onboarding.
  • Apply the product portfolio and pricing model strategically to maximize profitability.
  • Represent the company at industry events and within the territory to build networks and drive growth.
  • Coordinate with technical service teams to ensure exceptional delivery and customer support.
