About The Position

Under the close supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, the RBT will implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders. Requirements

  • High School Diploma Basic knowledge of ABA principles to include, but not limited to, functions of behavior, strategies to prevent challenging behavior, teaching techniques (NET, DTT), and behavior reduction strategies.
  • Current and Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification granted by the BCBA

Responsibilities

  • Working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, implements treatment plans meant to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.
  • Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.
  • Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.
  • Possesses working knowledge of subject matter and can adapt interventions based on client needs.
  • Maintains client confidentiality and client dignity.
  • Ability to work individual and as part of a team.
  • Detailed oriented and proficient oral and written communication skills.
