The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is an instructor certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor/BCBA who are responsible for all work RBTs perform. A RBT works directly with the learner, makes observations and accurately documents the observations on data sheets. This is a highly collaborative position as the RBT regularly communicates with all team members regarding the learners’ programming.
