Hawai`i Behavioral Health has an immediate opening for an experience Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Hiring across ALL Islands: Oahu, Big Island, Maui This is a flexible position with multiple scheduling options and most RBTs begin with part-time hours, depending on client needs and availability. The RBT position is a part-time, hourly position, that will slowly transition upward to a full time position of 40 hours/week Hawai`i Behavioral Health was founded in 1993 to serve Hawai`i's youth and families through behavioral, educational, and social health services. Our service has expended over the years to include paraprofessional support, behavioral health intervention, early intervention programs, psychological assessments, individual and family therapy, intensive home-based services, therapeutic foster care, and parent training. Requirements

  • Valid RBT certification; If you are not yet certified, we can also provide the training course to become a Certified RBT, with an employment commitment of 360 billable hours after certification.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • High School Diploma minimum, Associate's or Bachelor's degrees a plus
  • Active CPR/BLS  required
  • Active First Aide Certificate required

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, and social skill needs
  • Monitor the progress of clients and work closely with the BCBA to update treatment plans as necessary
  • In-Home services 8:30am-10:30am & Community Services 10:30am-4:30pm
