Forefront Healthcare is looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at a regional hospital in Baltimore, MD . This part-time Dietitian will work onsite 4 hours per week. The RD will lead and direct the functions of clinical nutrition services; nutrition assessment, counseling/consultation, performance improvements ensuring high quality nutritional care is provided to patients while meeting Federal, State and local standards. Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to patients to meet the customer’s overall needs. Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for patients based on their overall nutritional status. Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes Comply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies and Joint Commission regulations. Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen Implement Health & Wellness initiatives

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of acute care or mental health and Registered Dietitian experience.
  • Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
  • Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills

  • Prefer previous healthcare experience.
