About The Position

Join the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health team down in sunny Florida where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Here, you will receive endless support and appreciation while building a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world. Echocardiograph (Echo) Technicians are an extremely specific kind of diagnostic medical sonographer dealing with the heart. Echo Technicians use ultrasound devices and other imaging tools that use sound waves to create images of the heart. They inspect the chambers and walls of the heart as well as the valves. An echocardiogram can be administered externally on a patient's chest but can also be conducted by placing a tube down a patient's esophagus to get closer to the heart internally. By joining the Martin Health team as a Registered Echo Technician, you will perform a range of echo exams in various settings, including diagnostic facilities, outpatient centers, and patient rooms, requiring flexibility and adaptability. An Echo Technician in this role must be comfortable with portable work as you will rotate through various locations. This is a great opportunity for experienced techs to expand their capabilities and gain skills, while acting as a steppingstone to other careers within the field at Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:30AM – 5:00PM, with on-call and rotating weekend and holiday requirements.
