Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and adapt personalized care plans that prioritize safety, recovery, and the unique needs of every individual.
  • Act as primary advocate for patients, bridging the gap between multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and holistic healing experience.
  • Drive clinical excellence by accurately monitoring and communicating shifts in patient conditions, ensuring the medical team has the real-time data needed for life-saving decisions.
  • Empower patient transitions by coordinating the discharge planning process, ensuring patients and their families feel confident and supported as they move to the next stage of care.
