Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.
  • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in pediatric critical care setting.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate unit staffing and daily operations to ensuring safe, high-quality direct patient care across specialty areas.
  • Deliver and oversee patient care in Emergency, Adult or Pediatric Critical Care, Intermediate Care, and Labor and Delivery settings to drive positive clinical outcomes.
  • Assess patient care needs, coordinate assignments, and support care coordination with the interdisciplinary team to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Monitor clinical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) and resolve patient care concerns to strengthen compliance, safety, and patient experience.
