About The Position

This Emergency Room RN position provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute illness, trauma, and critical conditions across diverse age groups. Responsibilities include triage, rapid patient assessment, stabilization, treatment implementation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency setting. The nurse manages high-acuity patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions while maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Floating within scope may occur based on operational needs. Weekend shifts may be required. The role requires adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and prioritization skills to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) are required at submission, with NIHSS required prior to start
• Epic charting proficiency within the last two years is mandatory
• Travelers must submit all requested time off during submission
• Provide supervisory references
• Maintain active licensure with no pending certifications
• Comply with nicotine-free workplace requirements
• Complete required pre-start modules promptly
• Clinicians must be willing to float within scope when needed
