About The Position

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused ICU
Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients
and our community.

ICU RN’s will care for patients in our med/surg/progressive care inpatient units
as well as patients needing critical care in one of our 4 ICU units: SICU, MICU,
CCU and Burn ICU.

bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical
practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which
focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses

Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support
learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered

As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool serving ICU patients, you will be
responsible for performing patient centered, safe, effective, equitable, timely
and efficient patient care based on the specific needs of the patient
populations served, communicating effectively with patients, families, and the
Care Team, participating as an effective unit and nursing department member and
establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other health
care team members across the organization.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF CRITICAL CARE ICU EXPERIENCE (not open to New Grad RNs)
• Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers

Nice To Haves

• BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
• One year of acute care RN experience is strongly preferred
• ICU RN experience is strongly preferred
