Registered Nurse - Float Pool Nights
About The Position
Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on various nursing units as needed. Responsibilities Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions (adolescents, young adults, middle-aged, and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR. Advanced resuscitation as per the area's requirement preferred. Classified as a specialty skills area. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off, and work area. May occasionally be required to work overtime.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in general duty nursing, emergency department, or critical care preferred, but not required.
