About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 22-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D experience, including circulating C-sections and newborn stabilization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Active New York (NY) Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong Labor & Delivery experience, including C-sections
• Experience with newborn stabilization and nursery care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• Fetal Monitoring Certification (within the past 2 years)
• Must be available to complete the full assignment through summer
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Restricted Counties (Not Eligible): Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients
• Circulate during C-section procedures
• Assist with labor management and continuous patient monitoring
• Perform newborn care, including initial stabilization
• Provide nursery care until newborn transport (if required)
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
