About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele for an exciting Travel or Local job in Massena, NY.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Certifications Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
- Administer medications and blood products safely and accurately
- Initiate and maintain IV access (peripheral, central lines, PICC)
- Manage patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and HFNC
- Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
- Adhere to infection control and isolation protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
