Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing required.
- Active Kentucky RN License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient clinical status.
- Develops a plan of care.
- Implementation of the nursing plan of care.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of the care plan.
- Communication and validation of patient care information.
