Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients of all ages, ensuring their physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs are met.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and support a team of caregivers, collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
  • Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and families on health management, self-care, and health promotion to foster better health outcomes.
  • Clinical Excellence: Participate in shared governance, peer review, and professional development to promote a culture of clinical excellence and leadership.
  • Care Coordination: Utilize care management principles to coordinate efficient and effective patient care services, focusing on improving patient outcomes.
