How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver expert nursing interventions and monitor patient conditions in a fast-paced Level 1 environment, ensuring strict adherence to advanced trauma protocols and organizational standards. Serve as the central point of contact for the healthcare team, synthesizing physician orders and diagnostic results to implement and adapt comprehensive patient care plans. Lead the end-to-end patient experience by assessing clinical stability and collaborating with case management to facilitate proactive, safe, and timely discharge planning. Maintain meticulous documentation and real-time communication of patient status changes, ensuring gold-standard safety and continuity of care for short-stay populations.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Acute Care or Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
  • BSN preferred
