This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in clinical assessment, supervision, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years of acute or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and initiate individualized care plans based on resident needs upon admission.
  • Continuously assess residents and update care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate significant changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate health care team members.
  • Implement appropriate nursing interventions, including discharge planning and resident education as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to LVNs and CNAs.
  • Conduct initial shift rounds to establish a baseline assessment and provide oversight of resident care.
  • Direct and supervise daily nursing care delivery on the unit.
  • Document all care provided concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Assume charge responsibilities and supervise unit operations in the absence of the head nurse.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines, including Title 22.
  • Foster a professional and collaborative working environment among all health care team members.
  • Accept reassignment as needed to ensure resident care needs are met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
