About The Position

Registered Nurse- Oncology Treatment Centers (Manager) Manager, Medical Oncology Treatment Centers Responsible for the day to day operations and management of the medical oncology treatment and infusion suites at all Cancer Center for Hope locations Manages all clinical staff, including registered nurses and charge nurses, as well as all pherisis and Infusion Suite team members Coordinating with SLA, schedules treatment rooms days of week and hours of operation Maintains staff scheduling to ensure smooth workflows for daily and weekend hours of operation Establishes workflows for safe, positive, high quality, efficient and effective treatment room visits Maintains collaborative relationship with all pharmacy team and coordinates safe medication administration and handling and disposal for all workflows within the treatment rooms Creates standard work processes for pherisis procedures and maintains all quality assurance on equipment and process. Works with leadership from scheduling, pharmacy, oncology clinic and revenue cycle leadership to ensure smooth process for patients and clinic staff Creates streamlined processes to create efficient workflows for patient preparation, medication administration and documentation of treatment Works collaboratively with all cancer center leadership to promote excellent patient experience across the entire cancer continuum as well as throughout the health system Is an expert and resource for oncology clinical education, stays updated on all oncology education and NCCN and ONS standards and guidelines Role-model of leadership behavior, team engagement and positive attitude at all times. Champion of exceptional patient experience and customer service, every encounter at all times Other duties, including Commission on Cancer, Joint Commission and other projects as assigned. Responsibilities
