RN Telephone Triage position with limited patient facing interactions. Located in Cardiology Office at Methodist Medical Office Building. Hybrid schedule available working in office and remotely. Core Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30PM No weekends, No holidays, No call. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be considered with 2+ years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO review)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
