About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit. The position is located in Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Skokie, with a commitment level of Per Diem. The role involves a rotation of night and day shifts, with hours from 1900-0730 and 0700-1930, including weekend and holiday requirements as per level agreement. The nurse will utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care, guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel, and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• A minimum of two years of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care.
• Telemetry competence required, must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
