About The Position
The Department of Progressive Care PICC Line has an exciting opportunity for a Per Diem Registered Nurse to work in UTower. Responsible for applying the nursing process in the delivery of quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. PICC Line Nurse will assess patients for the need of mid to long term peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC LINE), place and asses in maintaining peripherally inserted central catheters or refer placement to interventional radiology.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Nursing Care experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred
- RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree
