Overview Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. Responsibilities Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a dynamic Nurse Educator to add to our Maternity team at Central Maine Medical Center! Serves as a practitioner, educator, consultant, and evidence-based practice leader. Responsible for needs assessment, design and development, delivery and evaluation of in-service programs, orientation and continuing education for nurses, students, and other staff in specified clinical areas. Develops educational policies and procedures; serves as a resource person to staff and management; participates in quality and performance improvement activities; and serves on special committees as needed. Functions with the guidance of the leadership team as an integrated member of CMHC. Requirements

• Current State of Maine Registered Nurse license
• 5 to 7 years of relevant acute care experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS, PALS, and BLS Certification required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years clinical educator experience preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Instructor status certifications preferred.
