About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with urgent and critical conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH
• Ability to work night shifts and a variable schedule in a high-acuity environment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond quickly to trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other life-threatening emergencies.
• Perform and assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
