About The Position
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawton, OK. Assignment: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12 hr nights Start Date: 3/30/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Lawton, OK Weekend Requirements: 6 nights in 6 weeks An ER nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues, determine severity, and provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects and, if necessary, even sustain life. An ER nurse is one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of ER experience is required
- BLS (AHA) is required
- ACLS (AHA) is required
- PALS (AHA) is required
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
Nice To Haves
- Recent traveler experience is preferred
- NIHSS is desired
- TNCC is desired
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge needs
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Respond to emergencies and perform interventions as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic care environment
- Support and guide unlicensed assistive personnel when required
