Department/Unit Summary Raleigh General Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) cares for patients who need emergency care and immediate medical attention at our Level lll Trauma Center. We have 24 ED beds and 6 PC beds. Raleigh General Hospital received Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology. How you’ll contribute You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. Requirements

  • Current state RN
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS – Required within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC or ITLS—Required within 1 year of hire date.
  • PALS—Required within 1 year of hire date.
  • Previous experience in clinical trauma care preferred.
