About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment at a busy acute care facility. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients and must be comfortable floating to the postpartum unit as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- Postpartum experience with prior floating required
- Recent Epic EMR experience required
- Active RN License Required
- L&D-related certifications per facility standards
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Assist with labor management, deliveries, and immediate postpartum care
- Safely administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Accurately document care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Float to the postpartum unit as required
