About The Position
Where You Will Work: The Med/Surg Telemetry offers 16 private beds for a diverse patient population, including both general medical/surgical cases and cardiac-specific patients. Typical admissions include post-cardiac catheterization, new cardiac medication monitoring, pacemaker placements, and chest pain rule-outs and general Med/Surg patients Known for its strong sense of teamwork, the unit operates as a close-knit “family” team that takes pride in supporting one another to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
