About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced acute care environments and are open to assignment extensions.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit (patient ratio 1:5–1:6)
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
