Registered Nurse RN – Medical Unit
About The Position
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Unit Overview: N3S Medical Unit - N3S is a 32-bed general medical unit, specializing in adult complex conditions with a main focus on respiratory diseases, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD. Our nurses work closely with physicians, care managers, social workers, and PT/OT to ensure we deliver high quality/safe care to our patients.
Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
