About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) . The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to post-anesthesia patients using evidence-based nursing practices. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent PACU or critical care experience
- Telemetry Experience: Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Telemetry Certification
- Telemetry Certified
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of PACU experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PACU patients
- Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, vital signs, and patient responses
- Perform therapeutic and critical care interventions as needed
- Assist physicians during post-operative recovery and procedures
- Accurately document patient care and clinical findings
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with ICU, Pre-Op, and PACU teams as required
