About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Location: Hyannis, MA 02601 Pay: $70 – $79/hr (Traveler) | Contract: 13 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hr rotating day shifts (08:00–16:30 / 09:00–17:30 / 10:00–18:30 / 11:00–19:30) Position Overview: Provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, airway, and recovery progress. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Requirements
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Massachusetts RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, Pharmacology & Basic Arrhythmia certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in PACU, ICU, CVICU, ER, or Same Day Care
- Strong clinical judgment, critical care skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and provide post-operative nursing care
- Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and medications
- Administer IV therapy, hemodynamic, and ventilator support as needed
- Document care and communicate patient status to care teams
- Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions
- Support staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
