About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU to provide high-quality critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in pediatric intensive care and experience working in trauma-level facilities.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License/Registration
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 3 years of recent PICU experience (within the last 2 years)
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records
• Prior experience in large or high-acuity hospital settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• Perform advanced patient assessments and clinical interventions
• Monitor and manage critically ill pediatric patients
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Respond effectively in emergency and high-pressure situations
• Provide family-centered care and education
