You will have the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre-op and post-surgical patients in a manner consistent with our mission statement. You will work within both pre-op holding and a post-anesthesia care unit (formerly known as the recovery room), where patients are cared for and monitored as they recover from the effects of anesthesia. The nurses responsibilities include all aspects of patient care prior to and following surgery. This care includes monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration, as well as managing the pain and nausea that often follow anesthesia. SHIFT DETAILS Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 36 hours, 3-12s Shift: 8:30A - 9P On Call: 18-24 hours of call required per 2 week schedule period. Call shifts are: M-F 2200-0530, Sat & Sun 0600-1800, 1800-0600 Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
