About The Position

Position Purpose Join our Surgical Cardiology team caring for patients with cardiovascular disorders and post‑surgical needs, including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, thoracic, vascular, and general surgery. Nurses gain broad skills with strong unit leadership that support clinical growth and critical‑thinking development. What You’ll Do Provide evidence‑based, relationship‑centered nursing care using the full nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate). Care for diverse cardiac and surgical patients as part of a highly supportive team. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes. Maintain clinical competence and participate in ongoing professional development and shared governance. Promote a safe, compliant, patient‑focused care environment. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Connecticut RN license

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • ACLS preferred
  • Acute care, Med‑Surg, or Cardiology experience preferred
