About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Trauma Operating Room Nurse to join a premier 417-bed facility in West Miami-Dade County. As a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and a verified Burn Center, the hospital manages some of the region’s most complex cases. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Trauma OR experience in an acute care setting; general OR experience without trauma/acute care focus will not be considered
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Florida RN License or recognized Compact Licensure
• BLS (AHA) – required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• ACLS (AHA) – required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide expert intraoperative nursing care for trauma, burn, and emergency surgical cases
• Maintain readiness for Level I trauma activations, ensuring all equipment and instrumentation are prepared for immediate use
• Advocate for patients during surgery, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary trauma team
• Adhere to strict policies and procedures while managing the sterile environment and surgical counts
