Webster at Rye is currently seeking a Full-time RN for Monday through Friday, 2p-10p, on our Long-Term Care Unit! This position offers weekends off! Requirements

  • Demonstrate knowledge and competence in her/his area of practice by vigilant patient observation and assessment
  • Development and implementation of nursing care plans and therapeutic interpersonal relation­ships with patients and their families
  • She/he should demonstrate the ability to supervise and teach other personnel and maintain up-to-date knowledge
  • Qualifications should include graduation from a state accredited school of nursing, current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of New Hampshire and progressive experience in the nursing field

Responsibilities

  • Assessing patient health problems
  • Administering nursing care to ill, disabled, convalescent, or injured patients
  • Maintaining vital medical records
  • Implementing nursing care plans
  • Advising patients on health maintenance
  • Providing guidance about preventative services, such as health screenings and medications
  • Administration of medications as prescribed by physician and performing treatments as prescribed and necessary
  • Accurately reporting patient symptoms, reactions and progress, and being responsible for recording of medications, treatments and observations
  • Assuming all other duties as assigned by DNS
