About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – AH Kings Mountain Medical /Telemetry/ PCU Kings Mountain, NC, United States This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible and qualifies for a sign–on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements! Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Kings Mountain North/Progressive Care unit consists of 32 beds serving medical/surgical and progressive care patients. Our unit displays extraordinary teamwork in a steady patient flow environment. We work closely with the physicians, case management, and therapy partners to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach. Our primary diagnosis among our population consists of pneumonia, rule out chest pain, and stroke being among the most common. Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

ACLS and NIHSS certification are recommended within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
