About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Float (Part-Time) Status: Part-Time Shifts: Combination of 8‑hour and 12‑hour shifts Hours: 48 hours per pay period (up to 60 hours available) Shift Options Include: Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Mid: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Late Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekends: Weekend and no‑weekend options available Holidays: Scheduled in accordance with the CBA Position Purpose Join a team that cares for the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. What You’ll Do As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will: Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care. Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient’s journey.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• 1 year experience in a Med Surg area preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff. (Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation.)
• Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
• Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in a Med Surg area preferred.
