About The Position

Are you an experienced RN who is passionate about serving others and building meaningful connections with residents and your care team?Immanuel Communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House includes 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation suites and 72 long‑term care suites, offering a warm, community‑focused environment where you can make a meaningful impact every day.
We are hiring for multiple Day and Evening shift opportunities, including 8‑hour shifts and 4‑hour split shifts, with both Full‑Time and Part‑Time positions available. Scheduling options vary by role and may include standard 6a-2p day shifts, 2p–10p evening shifts, and occasional 2p–6p or 6p-10p partial shifts.

The overall purpose of this position is to assure the residents are cared for mentally, spiritually and in health. The primary responsibilities of this position include ensuring the residents are safe and free from pain or abuse and treated with dignity and respect.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in and assisted living or skilled care community or related experience is required.
• Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
