About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift: PRN, Days, 6:45am-7:15pm Your experience matters At Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, we put your well-being first-because when you're taken care of, you can take even better care of others. As a Charge Nurse, RN, you are responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care. This role includes clinical mentorship, documentation oversight, and coordination of staff assignments based on patient needs.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification.
- Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting, with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN Preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
- CRRN Preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identified patient needs.
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
