About The Position
This position supports residents in a skilled nursing setting who require ongoing, 24/7 care. Your role will focus on maintaining safety, comfort, and continuity of care for a geriatric population.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (Washington State or eligible)
- Strong communication and clinical judgment
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, or willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Communicate updates with physicians, care teams, and family members
- Provide direct nursing care including wound care, tube feedings, catheterization, and related services
- Coordinate and order medications, supplies, and equipment
- Advocate for residents to ensure care aligns with their preferences and care plans
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
