Position Overview: Under the direction of the manager and charge nurse, the RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will play a critical role in providing exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab. You will be responsible for making nursing assessments, formulating care plans, and delivering pre- and post-procedure care specific to Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients. The RN will ensure the environment of care meets Joint Commission standards and actively contribute to an innovative, team-oriented setting. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Florida Registered Nurse License
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring the highest level of nursing care and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate and deliver excellent care.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with Joint Commission Standards.
  • Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and Electrophysiology device implantations, gaining advanced clinical skills.
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and teamwork within the Heart and Vascular team.
