About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is responsible for providing physical, mental, and emotional care to patients. This position is also responsible for maintaining the patient's medical condition and evaluating medical care plans. This position will train the other Registered Nurses in the department.

Requirements

Accredited college degree in Nursing
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)
Exemplary customer service experience including client relationships and job knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; ability to critically think
Knowledge of quality control
Ability to exercise manual dexterity, control precision and arm-hand steadiness accurately
Ability to be empathetic with patients; ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

Delivering direct patient care to patients as assigned, using established procedures
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records on medical information, vital signs, or changes in patient's conditions
Monitor patients' medication usage and results
Document patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes
Evaluate patients' behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients
Assist with or instituting emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during treatment
Train other Registered Nurses
Other duties as assigned
