About The Position

Plans, directs, and coordinates nursing care in terms of individual needs of the residents in accordance with physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited High School or GED Program and graduate from an accredited professional school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Georgia License with annual renewal / Registered Nurse.
• Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions
• Ability to move, sit, stand, and walk and bend intermittently throughout the day
• Ability to lift and / or move up to 100 pounds.
• Must possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these sources to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned.
• External and internal applicants who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case by case basis.
• Position has a high expected exposure to blood borne pathogens.
